At first glance I thought this book was a simple but well written YA fantasy. I was wrong. This book is amazing, well written, filled with emotion and has an original twist to the paranormal, fantasy genre. It is a coming of age story, with a small cliffhanger that leaves me looking forward to next book but not leaving me with a multitude of unanswered questions. It wraps up this chapter of Harmoney's life and hints at the beginning of the next. I loved it and would recommend it to my friends.It has light romance, magic and "a greater purpose". Some teen drama, but only in a coming of age way, learning to trust, acceptance, loyalty, betrayal.

Oh me oh my.
Once I got into this book I became fastly addicted the all the mystery, suspense and fantasy that was filled in these pages.
This is a wonderfully amazing book for anybody. Whether you are a teenager or a young adult read or an adult you will love and adore this fantasy filled book.
Tesch is by far my favorite character in this book. A sexy alluring siren who falls for her before she becomes all powerful. Hes truly the most amazingly protective man.
Him being a Siren is just a alluring perk to his sweet caring character.
I loved how it slowly unfolds to explain through the book what she truly is. I wont ruin the suprise but you will love it.
And the ending oh my, it sure does leave you for a cliffhanger wnating more and more. I was sad it was the end of the novel.
I cant wait to see what this author has in store if she does a sequel.
It will surely be amazing.
A must read for any young adult who loves a good fantasy novel.

Harmony was told that she was born with a defect. She is color blind and in a world of paranormal individuals where colors determine what your magic is she is abnormal. After an incident at school that causes her to feel emotion very strongly she begins to see the color yellow the next day. Having grown up with out seeing anything but shades of grey she is shocked at first. Soon more colors start to filter in and she discovers something about herself that could seriously put her life in danger. As she struggles to keep her new colors and magic a secret someone betrays her and everyone she loves is in danger.
This was a wonderfully written novel with great imagery and character development. It was easy to relate to the characters and they seemed very realistic. Every situation despite being in a paranormal world was believable. I loved Harmony the main character and her best friend and love Tesch. He had a unique name and a down to earth personality. I also loved the variety of paranormal beings in the novel. There are Brownies, Fairies, Weres, Witches, Sirens, and many more. I also loved that the novel takes place in Oklahoma. I haven’t read many books featured in that state.
Color Blind has an exciting storyline that will make it very hard for anyone to put it down.
This was such an amazing book. Full of everything to keep you wanting to read more! I really enjoyed reading this book. I recommend this book!! Great job Penny Miller!! Looking forward for book 2.
This is the best book I have ever read. It really trapped me in the story by the time it was one in the morning I had to use the bathroom and then I realized it was really late so I had to go to bed, but it took a lot to make me put it down. by the time it got to page 30 it was already my favorite book. I can't wait for more!!!!!

I received my book and immediately started reading it. I have been anxiously waiting for its release. Finally it's here and it exceeded any and all expectations I had. As an adult I was still very intrested and could not put it down. My kids are also very interested in the book. There are no boring areas and it is so full of excitement, with every page there is a new twist that keeps pulling you in. I can not wait until the next book. Great Job Penny Miller! LOVE IT and highly recommend it.
This book embraces the deep meaning of true love. It's a story of the coming of age of a young woman, Harmony, immersed in a paranormal society, and her relationship with her best friend, Tesch. This book embraces many of the trials and tribulations we have all experienced growing up, the unbridled excitement, the unrelenting uncertainty, the desire to fit in, and the perilous gauntlet of emotion we are all forced to run during our school years. But this book is so much more.
The author writes this adventure in an engaging format, a fast paced page turner punctuated by humor and intrigue. The dynamics between the characters are intricate and heartfelt. And the paranormal aspects of the book are so wonderfully entwined throughout, that it strikes the perfect balance between a reality that we can all identify with, and fantasy.
Harmony's world is both awash with excitement and shrouded by chaos as her journey plays out. I can't wait to follow her and Tesch in future books!
