I really enjoyed reading Honoree's guide for single moms looking for love. It was a quick read, which was perfect for me as a single, working mom of two and I found it practical. She gives voice to her own struggles looking for love and through her funny storytelling, made me laugh while also giving me great advice for dating. I was making a list of the people I wanted to give this book to while I was reading it. No judgement, practical tools, action oriented and fun. It doesn't get any better than that AND you'll want to share what you learn with your friends!
This book was ok. It is a bit corny, but has a lot of good points. I would definitely recommend this book for any single mom who is considering dating. Though my expectations for this book were a lot higher I do appreciate the author letting everyone know upfront that she is not a counselor nor a therapist and I also appreciate her sharing her experience.
An easy read with excellent doable advice! I felt like honoree is hanging out with me and we are having a girlfriends conversation on dating!
I found this mini book interesting and some of the advice helpful - it has been several weeks since I read it, so I cannot remember it in any particular detail, but I recall enjoying reading it and thought it was certainly worth the purchase - both for the advice and encouragement!
As a single mom wanting to find the right guy for me I found this book at the perfect time. I plan to put the advice to good use and not make the same old mistakes. Although geared for single moms, this is a great read for all single women.
It is not a long book, but I found it to be one of the best books I've read on the subject! The male/female dynamic is explained in a way I haven't seen before and it made a lot of sense.
